What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute commercial plumbing installations on job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily job site activities
- Direct and mentor apprentices and junior plumbers
- Install piping systems, fixtures, and equipment in commercial settings
- Ensure all work meets code requirements, safety standards, and project specifications
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
- Manage materials, tools, and job site organization
- Identify and resolve installation challenges in real time
Job Requirements
- Licensed Journeyman Plumber (required)
- 4+ years of commercial plumbing installation experience (required)
- Proven experience running jobs and leading crews
- Strong ability to read and work from blueprints and plans
- Solid understanding of commercial plumbing systems and installation methods
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry materials and tools up to 60 lbs.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and awkward positions
- Able to bend, kneel, climb, stand, and work on your feet for extended periods
- Work performed in varying environments and temperatures, depending on season and job location
