Pay Range: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Esser Plumbing and Heating, Inc. is seeking a Plumbing Service Technician to join our growing team. If you completed at least one year of a Plumbing Apprenticeship, have experience fixing things, solving problems, and want a career working with your hands, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Required Skills and Experience: 

• Minimum of one year as a Plumbing Apprentice 
• Possession of a plumbing apprentice card (we can help you get certified).

• Demonstrated mechanical ability - experience working with tools, repairing equipment, or performing hands-on mechanical tasks that can be directly applied to the plumbing field.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and a knack for figuring out how things work.

• Comfortable using plumbing tools and equipment.

• A team player with a strong work ethic.

• Eager to learn and not afraid to get hands dirty.

• A great communicator who enjoys helping customers.

About the Job: You’ll assist senior technicians with installing and repairing pipes, drains, water heaters, and fixtures; learn how to diagnose and troubleshoot common plumbing issues; help with routine maintenance and system checks; keep tools and equipment organized and ready to go; follow safety guidelines and learn local plumbing regulations.

Physical Requirements and Environment: Work is performed in various environments and includes exposure to hot and cold temperatures depending on job location and season; must be able to lift heavy materials and tools up to 50 lbs., work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
