Journeyman HVAC Installer

Residential New Construction - Fargo, ND - Full Time

Are you an experienced HVAC installer ready to take the lead? Do you thrive on delivering top-quality work while mentoring a skilled team?

Aire Serv of Fargo is seeking a Journeyman HVAC Installer. This installation role includes mostly residential and some light commercial work. Help deliver customer’s heating and cooling needs by providing quality system installations including Split Systems, Duct Work, Air Handlers, Furnaces, Condensers, thermostats, IAQ products, smart home devices and more. Succeed in providing a world-class experience and caring about our customer's needs.

Pay Range: $28.00 to $37.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Thursdays, some Fridays as needed
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Inspire and lead your team to deliver exceptional HVAC installations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for efficient planning.
  • Install HVAC systems to code and manufacturer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure peak performance.
  • Work with contractors and team members to complete jobs on time.
  • Educate customers on system operation and maintenance.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with industry regulations. 
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in HVAC installations, with in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, tools and equipment.
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently;
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a professional demeanor.
Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation; high school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of an HVAC training program or apprenticeship is preferred; certification or licensure in HVAC is a plus; may be required to train apprentices; may be required to run jobs from start to finish based on experience. Ability to work in awkward and/or confined spaces, lift heavy materials and tools up to 60 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
