Customer Service Representative
Location: Perham, MN
Compensation: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Esser Plumbing & Heating is seeking a friendly, dependable Customer Service Representative to join our Perham business office. This role is often the first voice our customers hear, so we’re looking for someone who truly enjoys helping people and believes the phone should always be answered with a smile. If you’re organized, calm under pressure, and enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do:

Answer incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries in a professional, friendly manner — always with a smile
Schedule and confirm service appointments accurately and efficiently
Communicate clearly with customers about services, timing, and next steps
Support technicians by relaying job details, schedule changes, and special requests
Enter customer and service information accurately into our system
Assist with customer follow-ups after service to ensure satisfaction
Help resolve customer questions or concerns and escalate issues when needed

What We’re Looking For:

Prior customer service experience (phone-based experience preferred)
Strong communication and people skills
Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment
Attention to detail and comfort with computers and basic office software
A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
Experience with Service Titan or another CRM system is a plus
Familiarity with plumbing or HVAC terminology is helpful, but not required
